Based on six years of scientific development, SmoothShapes® featuring Photomology® technology is designed to offer a new and innovative way to treat cellulite, safely and effectively, and achieve long-lasting results.
The proprietary Photomology technology combines dynamic energy (laser and light) with mechanical manipulation (contoured rollers and vacuum) to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Photomology utilizes specific laser and light wavelengths to address the physical manifestations of cellulite: less flexible collagen and enlarged fat cells. Collagen is remodeled so skin is smoother and tighter and fat cells are restored. Photomology gently stimulates metabolic processes to minimize the underlying causes of cellulite such as edema, impaired blood circulation and decreased metabolism, to restore tissue to a better state.
It targets the bumpy appearance of cellulite by restoring enlarged fat cells resulting in smoother skin and treats the dimpling of cellulite by remodeling collagen for tighter, more flexible skin.
What to Expect
SmoothShapes® represents a significant improvement in the way cellulite is treated. After treatment, you will feel smoother and tighter skin in the treated area and can expect lasting results. The SmoothShapes system can treat all skin types including tanned skin. Typically, results can be seen after 2 treatments a week for 4 weeks. The sessions are about 60 minutes each.
The treatment is comfortable and no preparation is needed.
You can expect the following:

Following the procedure, you can resume normal activity without pain or downtime and without any restrictions. Some things you may notice after treatment are:
- Skin may appear slightly pink which resolves itself anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours after treatment
- Skin may feel slightly warm, which resolves itself within 30 minutes after treatment
